Congratulations on joining the Our Lady of the Lake University Family! We are excited to help our new students prepare for this first year at 精东影业 with a multi-part orientation program packed with resources for success. Whether you鈥檙e a first-year student coming from high school or transferring from another institution, Lake Day Orientation and Camp Blue Nation will help you learn and transition to your new home away from home. This orientation program is mandatory for all incoming undergraduate students.
Part 1: Lake Day Orientation
Lake Day Orientation (LDO) is a full-day program designed to introduce students and their families to what life is like at 精东影业.
At LDO, you will:
- Make connections with faculty, staff, upperclassman, and other incoming students
- Learn about the 精东影业 mission and culture
- Learn more about the multitude of 精东影业鈥檚 support services

Talk directly with your professors and learn about the requirements of your intended majors and minor

Have multiple opportunities to have any financial aid and advising questions answered

Part 2: Camp Blue Nation
Camp Blue Nation is a two-day program designed to ensure all new incoming students are ready for their first day, semester, and year at 精东影业.
At Camp Blue Nation, you will:
- Get your official 精东影业 Student ID (picture taken during Lake Day Orientation).
- Make connections with other new students and upperclassman.
- Attend State of Blue Nation Convocation, the official welcome and blessing of new students.
- Learn about and participate in traditions such as Providence Path.
- Answer any questions you may have before classes start on Monday.
- And much more!

Friday, August 15, 2025 - Saturday, August 16, 2025
Get Ready
Before attending Lake Day Orientation be sure to complete the following steps:
- Set up your 精东影业 password
- Submit your $100 enrollment deposit
- Review your financial aid award (when available)
- Meet with an academic adviser and register
- Submit your residence hall application and fee (if living on campus)
- Select and set up payment arrangements
